Welcome to IDone, developed by Nebula Works. Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy outlines how your data is handled, stored, and protected within the IDONE productivity universe.

1. Data Storage (Local-First Architecture)

IDone is built from the ground up as a "Local-First" application:

• Your Tasks, Goals, Ideas, & Spaces: Stored strictly on your local device using AsyncStorage and local database storage. Nebula Works does not host, view, or have access to your personal notes, tasks, or productivity cosmos.
• No Centralized Cloud Database: We do not upload or store your personal content on company servers. If you delete the app, your data is completely removed from the device.

2. End-to-End Encrypted (E2EE) Device Sync

If you choose to pair your devices or collaborate with a partner, task and idea synchronization operates through a Zero-Knowledge Peer-to-Peer (P2P) protocol:

• AES-256-CBC Encryption: All payloads (tasks, ideas, subtasks, user profiles) are encrypted locally on the sender's device before transmission.
• Zero-Knowledge Relay Brokers: Public relay brokers (MQTT) transport encrypted ciphertext only (e.g. U2FsdGVkX1...). Brokers never hold encryption keys and cannot read, decrypt, or log your content.
• Explicit 1-to-1 Pairing: Syncing requires explicit mutual consent via temporary 6-digit key exchange or QR code.
• Instant Revocation: You can unpair a partner at any time in Settings, which permanently purges the encryption key from your device.

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal, anonymous data solely to ensure app stability and performance:

• Usage Analytics (Firebase): We track anonymous, aggregate interactions (e.g., "User tapped AI Assistant") to understand feature adoption. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
• Crash Diagnostics: If the application encounters an error, an anonymized technical report is sent to help us troubleshoot and resolve bugs.

4. Permissions & On-Device Processing

The app requests specific permissions to provide its core capabilities:

• Notifications: Used solely to remind you of scheduled tasks and notify you when a paired peer sends an encrypted item. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
• Audio Playback & Voice Notes:
  • Used to play 40Hz binaural beats and NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) focus tracks.
  • Microphone access is requested strictly on-demand if you choose to record quick voice notes. Audio recordings remain stored locally on your device (or encrypted during P2P transfer).
• Focus Guardian (App Usage & Overlay): Monitors foreground app packages locally on your device to block doomscrolling and distractions. Your application usage history, browsing data, and personal screen content are never recorded, logged, or transmitted off your device.

5. Payments & In-App Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to process IDONE Pro subscriptions (Monthly, 3-Month, Annual, Lifetime). Nebula Works does not store or process your credit card information, bank account numbers, or billing addresses. All transactions are securely processed by Google.

6. AI Features (Experimental & Offline First)

If you opt-in to experimental AI features (such as local AI idea generation or task breakdown), models may run locally on your device (Offline AI). Your prompts, brainstormed ideas, and workspace content never leave your phone.

7. Children’s Privacy

IDone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app signifies acceptance of updated terms.

By downloading, installing, or using IDONE, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.

2. 22-Day Free Trial & Pro Subscriptions

• 22-Day Free Trial: All new users receive a 22-day full-access trial at zero charge to establish positive habit loops.
• Pro Access: Continued access to premium features—including P2P Device Sync, Focus Guardian, Nebula Atmosphere Themes, and Home Shortcuts—following trial expiration requires an active Pro subscription or Lifetime license.
• Management & Cancellation: Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time directly through your Google Play account settings. Refunds adhere to standard Google Play store refund policies.

3. Acceptable Use & Peer-to-Peer Sharing

You are solely responsible for the content, text, and voice notes you create and transmit across paired P2P sync channels. You agree not to use IDONE to transmit malicious code, unlawful material, harassment, or content that infringes upon the intellectual property of third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

The IDONE name, visual cosmos designs, bubble physics mechanics, trademarks, and source code are the intellectual property of Nebula Works. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal productivity.

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

IDONE is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we implement industry-standard AES-256 encryption for peer communication, Nebula Works is not liable for data loss resulting from device hardware failure, OS upgrades, or accidental local deletion. Users are encouraged to maintain device backups.
